NEW ADMISSION POLICY (YEAR 2024-2025)

At F.F. Public School, we understand the importance of selecting a learning environment that aligns with the values and aspirations of both students and their families. Our admission process is designed to identify candidates who will thrive in our vibrant academic community and contribute positively to the school's culture.

Admission Criteria:

Age Requirement:

For admission to our various grade levels, applicants must meet the age requirements specified in our admission guidelines. This ensures that students are placed in an appropriate developmental and educational context.


Academic Records:

Applicants are evaluated based on their academic performance in previous grades. While we recognize the importance of academic achievement, we also consider a holistic view of each student, including their interests, extracurricular involvement, and growth potential.


Entrance Assessment:

To assess the academic readiness of applicants, F.F. Public School may conduct an entrance assessment. This may include standardized tests, interviews, and/or practical demonstrations, depending on the grade level and program.


Parental Engagement:

We value the partnership between the school and parents in a child's education. As part of the admission process, we encourage parents to attend orientation sessions, meet with school administrators, and actively participate in their child's educational journey.


Application Process:


Submission of Application:
Prospective students or their parents/guardians must complete and submit the official application form. The form should include relevant academic records, personal statements, and any additional documents requested.

Application Review:
Our admissions committee carefully reviews each application, considering academic performance, extracurricular achievements, and the potential for positive contributions to the school community.

Entrance Assessment:
If applicable, candidates may be required to undergo an entrance assessment. This helps us understand their academic strengths and areas for growth.

Interviews:
Selected applicants and their parents/guardians may be invited for interviews to assess their compatibility with the school's values and educational philosophy.

Notification of Admission:
Successful applicants will receive official notifications of admission. The notification will include details about enrollment procedures, tuition fees, and other relevant information.

Rules & Regulations

  • Parents/guardians may see the Principal/Administrator on prior appointment in school on any working day (Monday - Friday) between 9:00 a.m. to 12:00   noon.
  • The school starts at 8:30 a.m. sharp. And the School Arrival Timing for students   Is 8:15 a.m. sharp. So, all students must be punctual and come to school on time.
  • Students should come to school regularly. In case of absence, Parents/guardians are responsible for sending the Application along with a Medical Certificate (in case of illness) school in Admin. Office/ Principal office themselves. The Head of the school is solely authorized to grant or reject such leave.
  • Application for prolonged sick leave must be accompanied by a Medical Certificate from a qualified physician. Prolonged absence without leave shall result in dropping the name of students from the Roll.
  • Students suffering from contagious or infectious diseases shall not be permitted to attend school till complete recovery and on production of a Health Certificate from a qualified physician.
  • Students must come to school in full, neat & clean school uniform and keep themselves neat and clean. Nails should be trimmed once a week and hair (boys) should be trimmed once a month also behave well in and outside the school premises.
  • Students are expected to observe strict discipline in school and respect their teachers. Indiscipline and misbehaving attitude may lead to expulsion from the school.
  • If the students damage any goods or furniture belonging to the school, the parents/guardians will have to make up the loss.
  • No students can, without the clear permission of the Head of the Institution, join any association / attend a public meeting, or raise a subscription there.
  • A student once enters the school (classroom) cannot leave or be permitted to leave the school premises unless or until a written request is made to school authorities.
  • The students are responsible for taking care of their books, copies, stationery, etc, on the school premises.
  • Parents/guardians must sign the Student’s Home Assignment Diary daily (teacher's remarks about pupil day-to-day activities and other information).
  • Parents are advised to check their child/children, whether they complete their Home Assignment daily or not. Parents are expected to see the Principal and not the teacher for any inquiry regarding the progress problems of their child/children.
  • As the whole Academic Session of the school is divided into two semesters, so, after Examinations of every semester, Report Cards are sent to Parents/ Guardian with due request to see and sign these cards, and duly signed Report Cards should be returned to the Class teachers by the concerned students (child/children) at the earliest.
  • Likewise both semesters, each Academic Session comprises two Monthly Tests (commenced once in both semesters). After every Monthly Test, Result slips are attached to the Daily Diary of each student so, Parents /guardians are requested to see and sign the Monthly Test Result slip to know about the monthly progress of their child/children.
  • Students must have at least 80% Attendance to appear in the Examinations of both Semesters. Otherwise, they will not be permitted to appear in the Examinations.
  • All students are restricted from using fair means during the Examination-Willful breach of Examination rules or using unfair means will be considered a serious offense, attracting drastic action under the rules.
  • A student shall be required to obtain at least 40% marks in every subject in the Examinations of both Semesters to be declared as passed.
  • Declaration for being passed or failed depends upon the Aggregate Result which is the Average Result of the Examinations of both Semesters (the Grand Total of obtained marks of both semesters is summed up and then gets a percentage of it). Based on this Aggregate Result, students are declared as passed or failed. So, to be declared as passed the Examinations, each and every student is restricted from appearing and passing the Examinations of both Semesters.
  • A student is declared as failed in the Aggregate Result, shall remain in the same class, shall not be allowed to be promoted to the next class, and shall have to repeat the same class.
  • School closes at 1:00 p.m.After releasing the school, no students are allowed to stay outside or inside the school premises. Students are restricted from going home immediately, but those students, who can not go home themselves alone, their Parents / Guardians carry them home, are allowed to stay inside the school premises to wait for their Parents/Guardian.
  • The last date for the payment of the Monthly School fee is the 10th of each month as Payment shall be due on the 1st day of every month. However, the facility extends up to the 10th of each month.
  • In non-payment of dues, the student’s name may be struck off from the roll. After the settlement of the fee schedule, the procedure of re-admission will be done that’s fee equal to the tuition fee shall be changed. However, re-admission is not guaranteed.
  • Such students who will not continue their further studies for the next session in the School will be allowed not to pay the school fee for Summer Vacations in Jan. & Feb. respectively as per rule. A written Application must be submitted about it in the Admin Office in December of a current session by the Parents/guardians of such students As all fees and payments are nonrefundable and also fee subject to review without prior notice.
  • The decision of the Principal, in all the matters of the school, shall be final.
